TCA decided on Blue Tag Certified T-10 Bermuda sod.

TCA chose to go with one of the most advanced track and field drainage solutions available today. The System 3000 ACO Sports Drain was installed between the field and track surface. This not only provided the drainage for the field, but simultaneously retrieves water from the track. And because TCA needed a multiple use field (i.e. soccer), the ACO drain eliminated any dangerous swales or grates to contend with.

TCA demanded that their field be playable during inclement weather conditions. With this in mind, as well as budgetary concerns, it was decided that the appropriate soil profile for TCA would be a native soil base with (4”) inches of 90:10 on top. This depth and blend has allowed for superior nutrient capacity and consistency, while also providing them with the playability and safety that they so desired.

TCA had a dream of what they wanted to have at their new campus in Jackson from day one. With that in mind, they stepped out in faith and employed AFT to construct one of the best sports facilities in the Southeast. With the build and design skills of AFT and the awesome stewardship of the TCA staff, they have achieved their goal. TCA has provided their students with a facility for safe competition and aesthetic beauty, while more importantly teaching the student athletes about fellowship and character.
